I think a good change for zarya would be to let her charge her secondary like Winston. The more she charges, the straighter and further the lob will go. You can spam it on a cooldown to get the arcs like she has now, but for pressuring someone far away she can get a projectile slower than a Mei icicle for example, just not as powerful.

Tank's biggest downfall is that they have the responsibilities of two players, but the power of a single one if the tank hero is lucky

I realy enjoyed this one. A lot of "rework videos" are made by OTPs missing the bigger picture or getting too caught up with specific numbers. But you focused on making playing heros fun and interactive. It's truely a shame they didn't give the one community created experimental patch to you.

I love sinking in hours to be good at ball only for them to go sombra and hack me over and over.

maybe hook should count as the secondary fire, that way it isn't affected by hack. or something like that. edit: actually, i just realized that hack pulls you out of ball, so that wouldn't work how i thought it would. Instead, maybe hack should lock you in ball form for the duration (maybe at a reduced speed) and maybe the ground pound should deal more damage the higher it gets used from (maybe only for april fools)?

It's so ingrained I never even realized how much you use it to tell when to shoot a barrier. W take. Also: Give D.Va a secondary fire on Blaster, or some kind of extra ability that lets her contribute to fights in some way while her mech is down. My mind goes to the piercing charge shot that she gets in Heroes of the Storm.

My idea of rewoking doomfist is to just bring back the beta engine. Let me do movement tech and it will be its own reward

every character feels horrible. tanks feel weak af while also unstoppable if they come at you. supports feel unkillable due to their insane heals and ability to always escape you or counter you with one ability, or in the case of moira, being a damage hero but with no aim, a way to easily do hundreds of dmg while doing nothing except feeding ult charge to the enemy supports, lifesteal, ability to instantly go anywhere in the map without any form of counter play, ability to heal (i think, havent seen any moira player actually heal so idk) and an ult that does nothing except make her unkillable. damage heroes feel trash bc they cant stop a tank, they cant play without a support, they can rarely secure a kill on a support, they cant help their tank and queue times exist. overall every hero feels op while fighting them but pathetic and weak while using them or having them on your team, except moira who i guess must be their favourite cuz she can literally anything.

i think this is the wrong way to approach it. tank is extremely unfun but its not because tank is broken its the other heros and systems punishing them, so changing individual tanks wont properly solve the issue

rein should get 4 fire strikes at 60/70ish damage each >:) i think zarya's secondary should be chargeable. the longer you charge it, the more damage it does, the faster its projectile speed, the more linear its trajectory, and (maybe) the larger its projectile. i feel like ball should probably get a stronger buff to his grapple than you suggested

You know why this happens. Too much CC. Remember at the start of OW2, devs said only TANKS would have CC except Ana's sleep? Yeah right. CC cooldowns are too spammable for solo tanks. And they didn't keep their promise on "only tanks being able to CC". As they do with all their promises, they lie.

I hope the devs watch this video and take something from it even if they don’t one for one the changes

Honestly good vid but i dont think junker queen needs veratcality i think she needs better counter against rein with his shield he blocks most of her kit and the dps healing reduction can be waited out also the enemys just wait behind his shield for and just shoot no cooldowns required wich is kinda stupid

I've come back to Overwatch this week and main tank, specifically Ramattra. My biggest problem with tanks is how easily they can be bullied and yet also how unkillable at the same time. Whenever I die as a tank I feel like I didn't deserve it, meanwhile when I die to a tank it felt like they just didn't die. Tanks are simply not rewarding to fight.

being able to counterpick takes more skill out of the game at this point than its supposed to introduce, get rid of it and rebalance heroes accordingly

tank seems to be the number one bad player we receive when the game wants us lose. i can handle lack luster heals sometimes but tanks that just dive in are so annoying

I agree with most of them but honestly as a ramattra main I don’t agree with your changes to him. I truly think he’s fine the way he is because he’s super adaptable. And if you stopped his movement during block he would lose the only disengage tool that he has. Sky high vortex is an awesome idea we can keep that 😂

As someone who's most most played hero is sombra, I thi k it would be a very good change to just make hack a projectile very similar to virus, so there is less brain dead hold button to auto hack your target, making it a projectile like virus or hell even a small hits can shot would be miles better than the current state of hack and how it makes the game feel
